How about paddles in Jr. High? I was part of the last group that would get swats at school. I never did get the paddle but I know of many that did. It really made a positive difference in their behavior after that. Now it will make national news if a Principal smacks a kid.
Cancer doesn't discriminate...don't take your good health for granted because it can be gone in a heartbeat. Please go back and read the last line. This time really understand what it says.
I remember when we got our first television. One of my favorite shows to watch was The Three Stooges. Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk.
One episode Moe was painting and slapped Curly across the face with a paint brush. Funny stuff, I thought.
One time my Dad volunteered me to help paint the outside of our church. I was painting away and my little 7 year old brother came over and got a little too close. On an impulse, I dipped the brush into the can and slapped my brother in the face. He immediately started crying which brought Dad over to see what happened. All the humor was gone at that point...lol
There's a Bible verse that says "Spare the rod, spoil the child". It applied to me that day. My brother still thinks that's funny.
