The coward of broward, Scot Peterson is getting over $8,700k a month pension! He hid in a closet while 17 chlldren got slaughtered at the Parkland school shooting. ! How in the hell is he getting this?

what a f***ing coward in the highest regard. He tucked his tail and ran the other way when their was a school shooting. I tackled a drunken gunman in California that was shooting at 2 police officers and into a crowd of people. The police officers hit the ground and ran the other way. I'm now paralyzed and in a wheelchair from the chest down, in excruciating pain daily. I sacrificed my life for this country and the government left me with hardly any money to get by each month for disability. Looks like the good ole boy club and the government taking care of his pension. Please continue to keep this story in the news and expose this coward !! We need more good Samaritans in this country like the Waffle House Shooter Hero in Kentucky. In my experience, when ##### hits the fan and their is a life threatening situation, 95 % percent of the people tuck their tail, hit the ground and run the other direction. Don't get me wrong, I have a high level of respect for our Law Enforcement and Military who sacrifice their lives everyday , so not talking about them.

Please don't give a negative opinion unless you have actually been that man in the arena , either on the ground, or in an active shooter situation. Thanks

Story was he was following dispatches relayed orders. Still, I couldn't sit outside and listen to those gunshots knowing each one was potentially a young life. I'd rather die than have to live with that the rest of my life!

I hate to say this but some departments, not all departments, will send there "Barney Fife" to be a school resource officer. He will be the low man on the totem pole on doing a good job while working as a patrol officer and the shift sergeants are glad to get rid of him and will recommend their "Barney Fife" for the job.
Those "Barney Fife" taint the good resources officer who will put his/her life on the line to protect the students and teachers.

Then let's quit putting him "under fire" and go ahead and kick his sorry ass to the curb and send the message to sherrifs everywhere we don't pay for cowardice and stupidity. Law enforcement isn't another form of workfare. We the people have an expectation of job performance. When these jackasses don't meet that expectation then they should have no expectation of receiving a pension.

Here we go again another mass school shooting today in Santa Fe, Texas. What a shame. I can hear all the excuses now from the 17 year old shooter. He didn't have a father, he had psychological problems, he was bullied, he had a traumatic childhood. Looks like the Law Enforcement officers actually engaged in gunfire this time, too bad they didn't kill him. On second thought he doesn't deserve a solider's death, he should be given a quick trial and hung.
