How many MMer's have been to Front Sight? I have done the Handgun training 3 times and want to go through the Practical Rifle Training this year.

I was bugged to become an Instructor while the Owner pondered moving to Las Vegas. Once I saw the type he hired as Instructors, I backed away and quickly.

A Person such as they attract, needs entertainment and the verbal dialogue of Combat Masters having previously killed endless bad guys + Zombies.

I will say to you, if you have $$$$$$$ then save it. Ole Elk could teach you far more than ANY Instructor there. Even at a Plumbers Hourly Wage, you will save Money and Learn far, far more.

If you still have endless Money, Invest in a SCATT machine (Shooting System).

Never forget: An Accurate Bullseye marksman can learn to be faster "to speed up" vs a Fast in-accurate Spray & Pray Shooter; can ever become: "Accurate".

Learning to have a 6th sense, is not available for $$$.

By the way, with your $$$ you should have a SCATT System to give to Elk, flat-out free, as a token of appreciation.

No, I doubt you could afford me to Train You. The only manner to arouse my attentions would be to PM me your Progress in Home Training via the SCATT after 1 Year of Intense Daily Self Training with a SCATT System.

Frontsight will never tell folks like you, what I just took the time to write.

Now I remember why I dropped off this site for awhile.

I have been a member for years . Back when they dropped the price to 1500 to join. My brother in law goes often and tries to get me to go. I have never been . I find it hard to go down in the middle of the week.It seem most of the courses are like Wednesday threw Saturday. He's has done the pistol and long range rifle course's.He has enjoyed and learn a lot from the programs. I would think the more shooting you do the better you will be. Maybe someday when I am retired I will make it ?

Jag, I think I finally figured out you were talking about BCB. It was the plumber thing that threw me. BCB told me that he was a Gynecologist for the Altimont cheerleading squad besides why would I want defensive hand gun training from a knot head that got busted for trying to sneak a hog leg into Nellis AFB?

I have been to Front Sight several times for handgun classes,and think it was well worth the effort.I have not taken any rifle classes there,but I am thinking of doing it after I retire,in a couple of yrs.I think Front Sight has been a great success in their mission to train students in safe gun handling and effective shooting.I think if Jagerdad were to attend one of the classes there today,he might have some positive things to say about the training being offered to the students.In all the times I have attended classes,I have never seen any of the instructors try to pass themselves off as Secret Squirrel Ninja Team 6 Operators.If a student wants that,they will have to look elsewhere.The Combat Master thing is offered as a selling point to entice some,but the biggest selling point is Skill At Arms,something that is achievable for the average person who is willing to work toward that goal.Front Sight trains thousands of students every year,and is still growing,so I guess they must be doing something right.
