Looks like surgery for Dupuytrens Contracture is in my future.

It would be interesting to note who here has had the surgery and what the outcome was.

uuuuhhh.....so giving hand jobs is getting difficult??

I've had a few. But not hand surgery. Have them cut the nerve and you'll have a stranger anytime you want.

I've had Carpel Tunnel Release on both hands and will have Trigger Thumb Release on both thumbs in the next 4 weeks. These are a result of wear and tear, the Dupuytrens Contracture is a disease.
The surgery is also a little more invasive. Good luck on the surgery.

I got to say this thread could a lot of different ways. Lol

Yes as a matter of fact, I had three fingers done on my right hand and it was good for about 5yrs. Now both little fingers are at 90 degrees and the middle finger on the right hand is contracting, but not enough to fix yet. It is genetic, my father had it and my cousin, both had multiple surgery's. I am glad I did and will again. make sure to get someone good though. Right now I can't get my hands together to clap however LOL
