Death threats.

Anyone ever get someone so pissed on the internet they got death threats? Well I'm finally in the club. After years of refining my ability to piss off people, I finally got a boba fide threat on Facebook. I was proud. Almost teared up. It was glorious and will be a highlight of my years of Facebook trolling.

I don't know much about facebook but it sounds like you need to switch to twitter. Trump says they're friendlier over there.

Yep. The whole world has gone crazy.

One of the reasons I started posting on this forum was the seething hate that was becoming overwhelming here. Within a couple of weeks of posting I was receiving messages that people were driving from Utah to come kick the spit out of me.

I've seen people talk about kicking people's asses and burning their house down on these forums. I think most of the death threats just stayed on the PM's. It has gotten better now on here. Elsewhere it's pretty bad.

I have lots of friends in the hunting industry. We share hate messages we get all the time. Some of my friends have received messages from other people saying they were going to murder their children. One of my buddies got shot by a client and while he was in the hospital he started getting facebook messages saying that they hope he died and his children wouldn't be able to feed themselves and would starve to death.

These people are walking all around us. Just boiling hatred. No logic. Just hatred.

Now I am sad.

I would tell them to bring it. I ain't scared of death anymore. If my P320 Sig .40 doesn't protect me then it's just bad luck. I've had so many close calls and I'm still breathing .

I had many in my 30 years of law enforcement. Mostly just drunk talk and taken with a grain of salt.
There was two that I took very serious. The first one ended up killing himself about a week after making the threat.
The second one was a so called druggie bad a$$ that made the mistake of threating my son, who was in high school at the time, because he was pi$$ed about me arresting all his druggie friends.

He ended up moving to Roseburg, Ore. because he felt it would be better for his health. Years later he called our sub station and asked the deputy on duty if he would contact me and ascertain if it was ok for him to visit his family that stilled lived here.

Of course 'she' never did stop by and finish the threat.

You would think with the 25 year age difference and all but I guess it will have to wait until I am on oxygen and using a walker.

Only one time and it was before the internet. I was feuding with a guy at work. He called me one night at about 10pm and said he was coming over to kill me. I told him he knew where I lived and I would be here all night. He never showed. The next day at work he denied ever calling me. He committed suicide a few weeks later.
