June - Elk and Antelope Scouting

Here is a video summary of my first scouting trip this year. I found lots of animals in wide open green fields. I hung a few trail cameras which I will be checking on the 4th of July. I was quite impressed that there were so many animals out in the middle of the day. The cow elk and their calves started coming out of the woods around 9:00 AM and spending the whole day out in the open fields. It was quite a site.

The nursery herd at the end is really cool!

Yes it was cool to see. I have driven by that area a dozen times and never notice those elk out there. Climbing up on the top of my SUV was the key. Now if I could just tie one to the tree it would be golden.
