Nevada 18 yr draw Unit 76-77-81

Greeting fellow hunters
My 66 yr old brother was lucky enough to draw an 18 year tag for Nevada Units 76-77-81.
We are DIY hunters. Yes even at our age!
Anyone out there have any help. We are not ATV hunters. Sometimes camp on a back as they say.
Any elk is a good elk!
Appreciate any info.

You are in for a fun !I hunted the early season last year and there is no shortage of elk.Would have loved to hunt longer but couldn't pass up my bull even though it was the first afternoon.
Take some good glass and get on some vantage points and start glassing.We passed on several 320-335 bulls and saw another lady debating on a 350(didn't kill it)Probably want to really think about a 340-350especially if not broken-but there are bigger ones there.
