Hey guys, I need some help! My brother and I submitted a video for the 2017 Kuiu Film contest and we were notified that we have now made it to the final 6. The winner is based on the video with the most public votes by the end of April. If you have 15 minutes and want to watch the video the link is below. If you don't have time you can still vote, it only takes 3 seconds!

The title of the film is "Chasing Desert Giants"

Nice bull!
Maybe instead of spending all your money on Kuiu and nightforce crap invest in a decent tent and rain gear. That way you and your buddy won't have to go home when the temperature drops to a brutal 45 degrees.

+1 For me it is about the kill ,especially if I wait ten or more years for a tag....just my 2 cents

Ha ha no, it was not high fence. Free range Utah bull. As far as not spending all of my money on Kuiu and nightforce and buying a nice tent, I appreciate the advice. My buddy had to be back to work the next day, we had no idea a big storm was coming in, we planned to sleep under the stars. And not sure what you mean about getting the kill after waiting 10 years? If you mean getting the kill on video then I can tell you there isn't a camera on the face of the planet outside of a GoPro that could have kept water out that morning. I've never had it rain that hard on me on any hunt I've ever been on anywhere in the world.

To answer the question about the problem with the scope. The two screws that tighten the turret cap to the turret its self came loose. Since there wasn't any tension from the screws when I dialed for 450-500 the dialed turned but the internal components did not, leaving me set for 200 yards. I was shooting under him the whole time.

It was an unreal hunt and a memory I will never forget! We had fun trying to make a decent video. Sorry we couldn't get the kill shot on video.

If your looking for kill shots you can go to our Vimeo page and see kills on my dall sheep and caribou from 2016.

There's always gotta be that one douche in every thread here.

Thank you for sharing!! What did the beast tape out at?

Voted for you as well! Congrats on a bull of a lifetime. Great video and photos of your adventure.

By the way, I sent you a PM.

Well done, Sir, well done!!!

Thanks a ton guys! Bull ended up scoring just over 370". I would have loved to complete the film with the kill shot but Mother Nature wasn't having it!
