My 12 year old and I drew the San Arroyo unit this year. I actually messed up and put that unit as first choice not second. Anyway I'm not familiar with the south end of the books. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It's a late hunt but as low as it is im it counting on snow at all. On the maps it looks mostly like desert and hills. Any help you all can give would be great, if it was a bull tag I would've down scouting numerous times, but a meat hunt is different. I will probably go down for a day or 2 in early nov to check it out.
