Let's try this again as the 1st thread had picture issues.

Gooch and Goatboy with Gooch's Guide Service, along with myself and my hunting partner were were fortunate enough to have success on opening morning. I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and help on our bull (my first bull). Also, to AH (you know who you are) for all your unsolicited help that day - you and your family are incredible with your unbelievable time and generosity which made a dream day even better.

That is a beautiful bull. I have 17 points now and that's the tag I've been trying to get. Can't wait. Hope I see something close to that. Congrats to you all. Dang nice bull man.

Thanks everyone - appreciate the comments. Friends made the hunt hands down and the term "dandy" was stated numerous times. While I am grateful for our success it is the memories that I'll cherish, which include the first time touching his horns as they were ice cold from the rain/snow storm the previous night - that sensation is among the many etched into my memory.

Thank you. Hope you draw the tag next time and have the fortunate experience to walk up with your friends on a bull of a lifetime.

To carry over a comment from the first thread where LittleBigHorn congratulated me and commented I that had "good help is an understatement". My reply:

Thank you sir - absolutely no doubt very good help indeed! It was an incredible experience in so many ways including, but not limited to, hunting with Gooch - a long time friend from my days growing up in Carbon County - to having the pleasure to make a new friend in Goatboy along with the opportunity to experience it with my hunting buddy who dedicated his season to this hunt. Their time, effort and commitment makes it OUR bull with my contribution being lucky enough to have a tag and the opportunity on the trigger to make those efforts pay dividends.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-05-17 AT 08:47PM (MST)[p]>Holy front end !! Congrats

Many thanks. Front end indeed - if you are curious the G1s and G2s score combined totaled 79 7/8.

Those are some awesome fronts, Beautiful rack.
