Just thought I would share a couple of the bulls I shot last month. The archery bull is from CO - 364", and the rifle bull is from AZ - 402".

Still have another really good MT elk tag, hoping for another good one!

I remember watching the outdoor channel and watching you guide hunters in eastern Colorado. Been a fan ever since. Keep up the good work!

Hey, Aaron, must be nice to score on such great critters and have access to such great properties! Are you not guiding in Eastern Colorado anymore? Congrats! Nice Bulls!

Nope, not guiding in eastern Colorado any longer. Allows more time for personal hunting. :)

Yep, he was! I honestly couldn't get him over 380" in the trail cam pic - but he sure grew when he was live! :)

What some big bulls. That's getting it done right there. Cool.

Congrats Aaron. A couple great bulls! Good luck in MT.

Are you guys not leasing Kern's anymore? Didn't run into any of your guides this rifle season?

Sorry man, I forgot about this post! I shot a nice 351" 6x6, and made a real rookie mistake on a mid 360's 7x7. I saw tons of elk, but these were the only two I saw over 350". The bull I shot I figured him right at 350", I was close.

>Rookie mistake?...pray tell!

Yep....we were within 300 yards, the bull had no idea we were there, but I was so out of breath getting to our spot, that when my buddy put up the spotting scope and said he was only 340", I kinda got loud. I knew he was way better than that, and I was talking too loud to confirm it!

The bull heard me, and decided to leave! When he sky - lined my buddy freaked out and said "shoot him", the problem was, I had no shot through the bushes! It was my fault, I should have kept quiet, and just shot the bull!!!!
