Got lucky and drew the late bull tag. Was up there last weekend and doesn't seem to be many elk high even without snow. Just looking for any help or info. Thanks.

Try looking on the west face just east of Holden. My brother in law had the tag 4 years ago, no snow, warm temperatures, no elk up high, but we started hunting this area and there were bulls in every draw. Hope this helps, good luck!!

Check the oak in Red Creek, be there pre-dawn. Not there every year but.................sometimes..................

I agree with looking east of Holding try Wild goose Springs canyon the road to take you up to Wild goose is just a little north of the north Holding exit. There is a few springs in that area one in between Wild Goose and Ebbs canyon right off the side of the road and another in the mouth of Wild Goose canyon.
I would not give up looking on top go to Pioneer peak check the north side of Pioneer peak in Pioneer Eagle hollow and Teeples canyon. The elk will feed at night where the Oak meets the Aspens and then move up to bed for the day in the pines. Any questions give me a PM i will try answer what i do know.

I spent 3 weeks down there in October saw a really cool heavy horned bull on the backside of red ridge send me a pm and I can tell you more

the elk can be real scattered lots of bulls wont be high you can find nice bulls in the lower country. we haven't been looking lately so cant help much
