I am looking for a little help from some of you archery guys that have hunted this Cache South LE unit? We understand that your special spots are yours alone!
My son in law recently drew this expo tag and had one year with the old Stick and String.
Any pictures, or help would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance!

The elk are spread out and tough to hunt. With all the general season guys in there it's a zoo. Water is your best friend. They will be hitting almost any water source

Travis, What did you mean by general season? Did you mean deer hunters hunting that same LE Elk unit?

He is referring to the rifle spike hunt that occurs at the same time as the early rifle LE hunt. A lot of people out and about opening weekend. The crowd does thin out some during the week.

Wow peoples reading comprehension is amazing.

The general season archery deer and general season archery elk will run the same times as the LE Archery Elk tag. The general season archery elk will actually end a week before leaving the last week (Usually the best week) to the LE tag holders.

Water will be key early in the hunt. The bulls should start talking a little toward the end of the hunt. I PMd you some places to start looking.
