August bull hunting

I drew a NV 061/071 bull archery tag. August 16-31.

I have had cow tags in September there before several years ago, but have never hunted this early up there. I did have a cow tag on Spruce Mountain a couple years ago during that time frame, but that was a water hole hunt, and was very difficult.

How will this hunt work compared to other seasons? I am looking to be able to take off the 21st to the 29th.

Not concerned about where to go, but how to hunt more than anything.

Thanks

The bulls will be hitting water holes daily I would think, I don't have any info on that area, but here in Utah the bulls are pretty patternable until they rub the velvet off, After that they seem to roam more.

Probably be nocturnal, eat all night.Water in Am. and Pm.bed all day long.Don't know how hot it is there in August, but here they bed as the heat increases.I would hunt water.
