I just found out that I drew the 111-115 archery tag!! With that and the Henrys Bison tag It's going to be a busy, fun year.

I just figured it out, WHY you draw those good tags. It's the tooth fairy that is helping you.
Go get them Buddy.

wow that is two what will be the third good luck? My mom always said they come in three's. No sheep tags for me.

Here's a few vids from that hunt last year.

Just be warned, there are two silver state and two heritage tags out there that are anywhere anytime rifle tags. You need eyes in the back of your head to make sure the wealth tags, bounty hunters and fee finders aren't hot on your tail. If they are, get out of the way as they're coming through to blow it up regardless of what your plans are :)

Enjoy though as it's an amazing place with amazing critters.

Cheers,
Pete

Marley have a great hunt. Looks like C3 found some great Bulls. C3 that's some great video of huge Bulls. Which one did you end up getting?

Most folks spend thousands of dollars applying cross states and get lucky with these caliber tags once maybe twice a lifetime. You on the other hand? ? ? ? Thanks for sharing the good news!

How close did you get to getting a shot at the 435 auction Bull? There were some really good Bulls in those vids. Nice camera work C3.

55 yards but behind some trees. My buddy couldn't see him, didn't know he was right there and snuck out to give him another go. Too bad we didn't have cell service right there. Naive to think think our kiddie walkie talkies wouldn't get locked out by the powers that be right then when it counted most. We watched him fall right in front of us that evening as he got up to start feeding.

What great video's you made. The funny thing was I just listened to a podcast about that bull and the story of the 4 400 bulls that outfitter took. I also saw the video of the auction tag guy getting ready to whack the bull but they didn't show the kill shot.

Pete your videos are always world class. I appreciate the genius of assembling riveting footage without cramming it full of the usual talking-face narration. I also like your taste in music ;-)

That's funny Greg !!!

Lots of folks complain at me for not showing the spray and the hunting. In the end of the day, the mtns and the critters are there for everyone. The hunt for was us and not really all that important to anyone else.

Hope Marley can glean some insight into what it's all about and can make his own story out there. Seems like he usually does :)

Cheers, Pete

I just got back into cell service. Thanks guys! C3, loved the videos, thanks for posting them.
