Big Colorado general season bull here. I'll set the scene.....it's day 3 of the hunt and at first light you spot this bull at 325 yards. You've got only 20 seconds to hit the dirt, decide, and pull the trigger.
Do you do it? Can you do it? Is he even big enough?

Yes. Yes. Yes. That's the exact situation I had for my first elk except it was the first day of the hunt. That one is hanging on the wall. And this one appears to be a little bigger.
 
Weather looks hot - grass is green. I'd wait so not to deal with heat , bees and flies.

Those 20 seconds would be enough to nock an arrow and plan my stalk or intercept route, then I'm off to close the distance!
