Manti LE archery elk

I'm helping my brother in law on his first archery hunt and he hit the jackpot. Didn't really expect him to draw so here we go. I'm fairly familiar with the central portion of the unit (Carbon,Emery counties)but want to look into other areas as well. Wondering about the northern end along HWY 6 in spanish fork canyon. Curious about the hunting pressure, recreation crowds during the season. I plan on taking a drive this weekend to wander around the area maybe Tucker, Dairy Fork etc. Anybody familiar with the area that doesn't mind throwing me a bone? TIA
