3rd Season Colorado 62

I drew a 3rd season Colorado tag in unit 62. I've heard mixed things about the unit and a lot depends on the weather. Anyone had hunted this unit? Any success? What can I expect? Looking to do some scouting, any areas that are better to focus on? As well as areas to camp? Also looking for area to hike and get away from roads and people. Any help or info would be great thanks.

I thought 62 was OTC for elk. Never hunted there but good luck.

I was thinking the same thing, if there is a 4th season, it would be draw...62 gets lots of pressure and lots of tags, People try to pick on off coming of 61. The one bit of advice, get into the deepest, darkest nastiest places and you may get lucky with a nice bull. You earn it in 62.
