Utah Youth tag

My daughter drew the Utah Youth Elk tag this year. She is super excited as this is the first year she can hunt big game. We are looking for any tips or advice on areas to hunt. We have the On X Hunt app , and are looking at maybe Beaver West or something in that area, but are willing to travel to any area of the state. We are open to any advice, as we will have limited time for scouting.

I hunt Beaver west with my kids nearly every year. I was there two weeks ago looking around. I've never seen it look so bad as far as feed and water go. There used to be several bull elk running around that area until it opened up to q general any bull elk unit. I haven't personally seen a bull on there in three years, but I usually am on the north end of the unit. I can't speak for further south, but imagine it is about the same.

I'm going down again this weekend but I'm making a plan B, it's that bad. I have 4 kids with general deer tags for the Beaver unit this year.
