Arizona Unit 8

I am looking for good areas to hunt in unit 8 in Arizona. I have checked a couple places out but I am from out of state. I constantly look at google earth and the unit maps but the area is huge. Just wondering if anyone could help me out.

yes, what season makes a big diference, on the late rifle Tule canyon usuaiiy has bulls, singles and small groups. Steep and nasty though.

+1. Pile of pref points to draw that tag.

elk are everywhere. almost arrowed a bull within 50 yards of the interstate Right at Ash Fork.Big truck whizzing by constantly. found bulls on far west side in flats, and far east and all along highway than runs south from williams. Killed one in SSE part of unit.

how much of season willl you hunt and how many advance days can you scout before opener?

got into elk ALL Day throughout entire season. Don?t make mistake of hangimg around camp during day is my best advice.
