I was lucky enough to catch him on a trailcam back in August. He was a monster. I had trailcam pics of the Mossback bull they called Rooster last year. Pretty neat to have 400 inch bulls on camera. The San Juan is heaven on earth. Even on a drought year.

Obviously not. If anyone has spent any time on Blue Mountain they would know that it is steep country in a lot of places. Most of the time, you are either going up or down.

My guess is they moved in on the bull as he and his cows fed across the face of a ridge to bed down in the dark timber. Seen it many times...

This bull was named by some locals because of his 26 inch sords.

This was a smart old warrior. He didn't bugle much during the rifle hunt. The shot was about 250 yards. Why not just admire the bull and congrats to the hunter with a bull of a life time? Do we really want to be nit picky on the hunters position? Is that going to make you want to share pictures?

Heck of a bull and great guys that helped make things happened.
Leaving tomorrow to go back down for some more fun!

I shouldn't have put shade on the photo or the great bull the hunter harvested, bigger bull than I'll see or shoot in my remaining 10-15 years of hunting. Pictures taken by the outfitter to better their brand usually look like this. Hopefully they took some photos for the hunter where he is actually hands on with the bull, those are the pictures I'd show my friends.

it's simple affiliated with a company of mine.was curious about zorro as the chosen name is all . makes sense with the swords on the Bull. I never watched zorro in my life thought the show looked way lame so didnt make the connection.
