Hey guys anyone able to chime on the elk in Ferris Mts in Wy? Was there
last Sunday through Thursday not a single bugle. Anyone hunting the same
time, we found a few small bulls but no shooters. This was archery, did we
miss the rut?

When I hunted it about 3 years ago they were rutting hard around the the first week of the rifle opener.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-30-18 AT 03:27PM (MST)[p]I was a few miles away and they were bugling all day long on the 8th of Sept. We called in 16 over 7 days. I'd say you were in the wrong spot.

I was on Ferris mtn Friday the 28th not looking for elk and heard plenty of bugles.
I'd say you were in the wrong spot
