Hey Guys.
I wanted to share a picture of the bull I was blessed to harvest Tuesday on the muzzlelaoder bull elk hunt up at Fort Hunter Liggett in calif. It was the best experience ever. Ton's of elk, the staff at FHL was awesome as well as every other hunter I met.
A BIG thank you to all of the guys here that shared their experience and knowledge with me. Look me up when you draw your tag!!!

I was stationed at the Naval Weapons Station in Concord CA in the mid 19800's. We had a herd of about 70 Tule Elk, managed by the state, residing on the station. It was always a treat to go to work in the morning and see these great animals. In the fall we would hear them bugling and see the bulls fighting. Fond memories for sure.

Sadly, the station is no longer there and the the animals were moved somewhere else.

Have you had/found an opportunity to have a certified Judge, score the Tule Elk..?

Jagerdad :)

I'm usually in Campfire

Congrats on an amazing Tule bull. I was fortune enough to get one of the military FHL tags while I was on active duty. Fun hunt!

Some pics of Tule Elk at the Weapons Station. These are old pictures taken with a film camera by an amateur (me)!
