Fall colors

There were some Fall colors on this cutthroat trout. My Wife and I hiked into Bull Creek #2 on the Grand Mesa, the water was down pretty far and I wasn't doing any good on lures. I could see nice fish moving in the boulders in one corner and put a caddis fly on and just flicked it out in front of this one. If I had brought a fly pole I'd probably still be there.

He wouldn't hold still so I couldn't get him to pose for the picture

Wish I had brought the Hornet along too.

Nice,
I went up to the Grand Mesa one time with a buddy, I couldn't believe the size of them trout in them smaller creeks!
Kick in the butt!

You need a pistol for those times, Nice color in the fish.
