What are the fish hitting these days? I don't have a fly pole so it looks like worms or flies under a sliding bobber? Oh yeah, the south fork near Idaho Falls is where i'm looking. Any help? Thanks

I love fishing the Snake River; specifically the South Fork. My
lure of choice is a gold and black sinking rapala. I fish the
the largers sizes (rapalas).

I love floating from the lodge down to Heise in the summer. It
is some of the best scenery you will ever see.

Good Luck!

does anybody fish the snake on the wa side above lower Granite dam near WAWAWAI park? my kids live in Pullman and I see that is the closest water.

try a german brown rapala, or silver that looks like a cutthroat, i have caught them on the perch. Go with a 7 or a 9 for size, the sinking ones too, by the way i am gonna be back in a couple months so be prepared for competition. Ha ha Good luck the south fork is awesome to float, but there is alot of private land that you cant get on that has some awesome holes. Hit me up in a couple months and we can plan a fishing trip, i also wanna go catch me my first steelhead this year. Good luck all, memorial day weekend is gonna find me fishing the arkansas river here in colorado never fished here but i gotta try before i get out the military.
