Anyone catching much out on bear lake(utah). little bro. wants me to come up, but i'd rather take him out on a river! what's the word?

we went out today 3/16. cisco beach, drilled through 10 inches of ice, its not gonna last too much longer, but its there. Always got the life jackets handy too.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-16-07 AT 11:54PM (MST)[p]Cisco has always been tough for me. If you go again, try the
east side behind the Sweetwater condos (The Rockpile). Mac's
are in the 40'-80' (or even deeper) range.

The whitefish and cut's are in the 20'-40' range. The bonneville
whitefish are just ending there spawn, fishing can be pretty good.

I mainly concentrated on the whitefish this year but did get
one cut that was 4lb (22-23")

am going there today, when brother gets off work. thanks for the advice, i'll get a report on as soon as i can.

fishing in 38 feet, rough, rocky bottom, where everyone else has been, caught 1, sucker. thats it. Ice report...... sketchy! I'm scared of falling through, cause it looks thin!! He drills a test hole. 10-12 inches about 150 yards off the beach there at sweetwater. the ice is pulling away from the shore, so most likely the last trip of the year.---------Little nephew(3 year old) planted a brown, in one of the new holes, had my video camera, but had forgotten about it when this was going on. we'll quit feeding him so much the night before. thanks for your help.
