fishing trip photos with the kids

I decided to get my kids and me out of the house the other day and take them fishing and this is what we got. the one on the left is a 7 pound cutbow my little girl caught and the other is a 7 pound splake my little boy caught.

now i am just waiting for shed season come on april 12

Congrats to the three of you and the pictures are great. Mind me asking what is a splake? Don't fish much anymore and this name caught my attention.

a splake is a cross between a brookie and a laker.
some people call brookies speckled....sp. laker...lake = splake.
