Congrats! that's a dandy through the ice. I miss fishing them in Minnesota, they sure are a blast!
Looks to be 46" or so.

He was right around 45" or so..had to get a quick measure and back down the hole. It was an Ontario fish...Here is a 41" Minnesota fish from my home lake..

Where's your home lake?
I'm originally from the Grand Rapids area(south, towards Hill City).
Dad is still up there and fishes all the muskie lakes around there, L.O.T.W. and Canada.

My original home lake is West Battle in Otter Tail County..My other home lake is across the street from my current home, Lake Minnetonka..Both have phenomenal muskie fishing. I am really more of a bass/walleye guy and both those pictured were caught while fishing other species. The top one we were lake trout fishing and the other was caught while walleye fishing..fun battle on 6# test and a 2 foot rod..
