I made it to brownlee. wasnt until june 20 something. perfect weather, too many ppl for camping, and worst of all, I dumped a 240.00 rig off the back of the boat. the water was at its peak and i dumped it in 25 feet. when is the best time to come back and dive for it. by the way, the fishin was great.

if you know right where you dumped it, id rig a couple large treble hooks and some weights and drag the area.

Every year is different but from mid July to August should be about right. Best way is to go to Idaho Power website and check water levels. Full pool is 2077. I'm waiting for a drop of 10' to look for an outfit a kid dropped over Memorial weekend. I used deepforks snagging method just today to retrieve one fron 25'of water. We were anchored when this one was dropped so I had a good location on where to try.

thanks murphy. I did buy some really big weighted trebles and tried until I donated one to the rocks. I already replaced the real but I would still like to retrieve if possible. I will be there in august. I hope.
