Have deer and antelope tags for the country on the west bank, this section of the North Platte river.
Me and another class of 72' high school long time friend will be heading that way come the 10th of Oct. Was wondering if could get any advice either on fishing the stream at that time of year or the buck hunting, Area 87 deer, 63 lopes. Also, would you recommend making base camp near or on the river?
I'm a fairly competent fly fisherman and my buddy is a master with spinning rod but fly guy, he is not. I tie my own usually but not so good on the smaller stuff.
