Fishing on the Green River

I am scheduled to raft down the Green River from Myton, Utah to Green River Utah. The trip starts on the 29th of May and ends on the 4th of June. My question is: I plan to fish and what kind of fishing can I expect?? Catfish or trout. Any info would be helpful, never fished the Green during runoff and with the silt.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-13-10 AT 09:46AM (MST)[p]If your looking for some good fishing on the green I would start and the Flaming Gorge dam and go to little hole or as far and Jensen. Thats the best rapids and fishing. The farther down you get the slower the river and slower fishing and really murky water but there are a few good spots here and there.

catfish, pike, carp. I think there's some sturgeon around there too.

Catfish for sure. Blues and Channels. I know last year the river runners had trouble with bears in their camps. Not sure but I would guess the bears know the camp sites. I guess some bear was attacking an older guy and turns out his daughter attacked the bear with I think a water bottle. Then brother/son showed up and shot the bear. I was working down in G River last summer and heard of a couple bears comming down.
