Or I am guessing that is where Guy caught this "big one" as that is where they were headed last Saturday as one of the group has a house up there where they can walk to the river.
Received it by cell phone pic not more than an hour ago. They are due home tonight so will talk to the guy who sent the pic tomorrow for sure....enjoy.

Here is another picture of the same Salmon that Guy caught with Jack holding it also. It weighed 57 and caught on the Smith River.

Congratulations Guy! They don't get much bigger than that. Nice and bright too.

I heard of a 61 pounder caught last week on the Smith, out of John Klar's boat.

With the low snow levels lately, and cold temps, the rivers should stay fishable for awhile. Now is prime time.
