Terrible trip. Birds were scarce, people were overly abundant. Dog got injured, truck broke.

Yikes Shummy that don't sound good! Take a Micky Mouse Band-Aid and tape an Asprin to your forehead you will be ok Man.
I went out seen a couple flocks of Sage Chickens no tag. Dog was wondering why I didn't shoot. Got into two different bunches of Ruffs with about 8 per bunch held out hopeing for mature birds they never gave me a shot. Just the young ones gave me shots I didn't take. Had a couple others flush that I didn't see. Had a great time! As far as Campers. They were everywhere. Kind of like a ant pile some one kicked!

Hope the dog"s OK.

I went out this AM, many for Mountain quail but picked up a grouse too. Just needed to kill something after week long deer trip in the Trinity Alps that didn't pan out.
