The Nevada chukar report is on their web site @ NDOW.

5 of the 13 sample areas have the highest amount of birds seen since they began the survey in 1986. The results do have a disclaimer about the veribles but I've found this to be pretty accurate over the years.

Only 29 days til the season starts.

Sounds like you're going to have a good year, Good luck.

Most of my Chukar hunting areas that are with in a couple of hours of home burned up, looks like I will be checking out a bunch of country that I always thought looked good but never took the time to hunt it.

I know NW Kali had a great hatch which usually means NE nevada did too. I'll know in another 2 weeks. I have the first 9 days of Nevada chukar off but kali opens the last two days of that period. Then 4 days at work an another 10 days off. Dogs are going to get some exercise this year.

I'm done with big game, now its time to focus on the chukar. I heard lots of them while scouting for deer. November should be great.
