Should be a good year for pheasants, the hatch is going well from all accounts.

I hunted around Mitchell, Desmet, Lake Preston. I'd say over all it was a pretty rough season. It was the fewest amount of birds I have seen in 17 years.

We did find a few spots that were very good still though, close to where there used to be water usually.
