I don't know what kind of coloring yotes have in Utah, but that thing doesn't have any coloring of all the yotes I've killed and seen. That being said it sure looks just like the coloring on the wolves that I have seen. Outdoor Life did an article 4 or 5 years ago on the Ghost Lake wolf pack from Wisconsin and DNA taken from them and wolves that had been killed in Iowa, Illions, and Indiana that year all of those wolves had dna strains to the Ghost Lake pack from Wisconsin. That being said in all cases they were young male more than likly looking for new territory and females.
