Hi.
I'm wondering how other hunters have done this season.
Opening weekend of Doves and Pheasants I hunted private land near Julesburg. The hunting was extremely good for both, I'm guessing the platte river and the irrigation ditches gave the young enough water to make it through.
The second weekend of the season I hunted walk in north of Brush. There was all most no cover and my dog never even got the slightest bit birdy which is pretty unusual when I have gone out in that area in the past.
Anyone else doing any good? Would it be worth my time to head to the south east part of the state and try to figure out how to hunt quail? Or Chuckar?
