Irregular ignition problems

Hi there, I am having irregular ignition and I'm looking for some help. I'm shooting Blackhorn 209 powder and 777 primers. Both are brand new. I've even had a couple of misfires. Not sure if I got a batch of faulty primers. I've tried cleaning the breech plug between shots and while I haven't had a misfire doing that, I'm still getting delayed and irregular ignition. I've never used blackhorn 209 powder before but I don't think that's the culprit. I've made sure the powder is seated good and the bullets are pushed down as tight as I can get them. I'm shooting a CVA Wolf Magnum in .50cal and I've never had this problem before using other powders or pellets. Any thoughts??

LAST EDITED ON Oct-22-13 AT 07:44PM (MST)[p]You should not be using the 777 primers. They are REDUCED in power specifically for using with 777 powder to try and reduce the 777 crud ring. You need full power 209s for BH 209

May need to change your plug too. Never shot a CVA so don't know and Frontier should. But you would have missfires with any plug using the 777 primers.
