Had a muzzleloader a few years ago, but never shot it and ended up selling to I could purchase other things. It's time to get another and get after it.

Cabela's has some Thompson's on sale.

Suggestions for a good muzzleloader. In Nebraska, we can use scopes, and the in-line guns are legal. Money is no object.

I'm a lefty, if that makes any difference(?)

Thoughts?

You might also think about whether you'd ever want to hunt in another State. Since diff. States have different requirements, some muzzy's will not be as versatile. For example, I've heard TC's are not designed to shoot conicals so if you ever wanted to hunt Colorado, you need to shoot conicals (as opposed to sabots). Thus a Knight will shoot both well but a TC may not shoot both well. I think they both make great guns but you want to be sure whether that would be a factor. Certainly other mfg. make good guns too and I'm personally a Knight fan but just because I've really not shot many other brands!

Money is no object. Knight Ultra-light for an inline, Pedersoli Missouri river hawken with fast twist for a traditional. Ron

Doesn't matter to me what gun it is, as long as you put in the time to find out what bullet and what charge of powder makes the best grouping.
