Would anyone remember who the person (machinist) is that manufactures a conversion kit for the Remington 700 ML ignition conversion. The expense is about $80 and was discussed in the Muzzle Loader forum within the past year. From #11 cap to the 209 primer conversion for Remington 700 ML rifles.

Blackhorn, I remember a fellow that owns and operates a machine shop that advertised kits to convert a Remington 700 ML from #11 cap ignition to 209 ignition. Years ago, I purchased from the Remington factory a replacement kit that proved to be only mediocre. It would not put a dent into the 209 shotgun primer but the weapon would fire. It cost about $50 back then. Two years ago I purchased my second replacement kit from someone that actually did lathe work.....he charged me about $80 and his was the very best. Hopefully, someone on MM will remember his company or his name. Any help out there? Cow Tag
