We are all (3) 60yrs or older. Can you suggest any unit that we can draw for elk? just looking for a fun hunt not trophy's.

I would suggest either 1st rifle or muzzleloading season in an otherwise OTC unit. IMO you don't have enough points to draw a decent limited draw unit.

Do a search in the parks and wildlife website under statistics:

http://cpw.state.co.us/thingstodo/Pages/Statistics.aspx

to check for hunter numbers and hunter success for different units.

So scratch out "1st rifle" in the above post and the rest still applies. You probably won't get any more specific recommendation unless you provide more info, such as:

Have you hunted Colorado before. If so, where?

Where do you live? So which part of CO is closest to you.

Public land only or are you willing to pay a trespass fee?

How far are you willing to hike offroad and bring an elk back on your backs?

Willing to rent horses or foot only?

There are lots of variables. There are lots of elk in western Colorado, and just about any unit will fit your description, but probably only for an OTC unit. I don't know of anywhwere 3 points will draw a totally limited unit with a muzzleloader. If it does, there is something wrong with it.
