I have been a rifle hunter for the past 16 years, and final the pressure of the rifle hunt in Utah has caused me to explore other options. I recieved the Dedicated hunter tag this year and so I'm able to hunt deer using all three weapons. I recently bought a bow, and have been practicing a lot, and will begin hunting this weekend, late start, I know. Lately I have turned my attention to Muzzleloading. Since it's a new adventure, and only a three year tag, I wasn't sure how much i really wanted to invest into a Gun. I searched high and low for good deals, and seemed to come up with a wide variety of opinion, and prices that were all very similar. Then, I came accross www.muzzle-loaders.com. They didn't try and sell me the most expenseive gun they had, they pointed out the fact that in Utah, you can't use any magnification, thus vision would be the biggest limiting factor, they gave unbiased opinions of the different options, and even put together a custom starter kit for me. With all that custom support I expected to pay additionally for it, but was pleasently surprised to find they were significantly cheaper than my local sporting goods store. For anyone else that is in my situation and looking to try out a new sport or hobby, believe me give them a look, and save yourself a lot of time, and headache.

You might wanna look into Sportsmans. Right now for their Labor Day sale the are offering $50 off on on-line orders over $300. Last night I ordered my son a T/C Impact. Regular price is only ten bucks more than this site, but after the discount, and free ship to store shipping, it came to $277 out the door for the camo / weather shield model. It's $298 on this site plus all the taxes and shipping.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-26-14 AT 08:22PM (MST)[p]Boy, it is terrible! The internet sure turns you into a skeptic. I look at that post and right away, I think, this is just a spam advertisement. He could be truthful, but with a 1 post kind of guy, you got to be suspicious. To his credit, if he is spam, he made up an entertaining story to go with it. I hope he is legit, and only time will tell. If so, lets hear what exact gun he bought???
