Texas Hunter, thanks for the current information. I will do a little research and find out what retailer has these in stock and will make my first purchase. Our muzzle loader season is in mid-December and I plan on trying the new Federals out at that time. They certainly look good. If you buy them and practice your marksmanship please make a report here on MM for the rest of us to learn from.

When I posted the link this morning, they were available. Now they are out of stock. You can have them email you when they get some back in but if you see an online store that has them, you better act quickly

After Hornady stopped making the 410 gr 50 cal I decided to never be in the position to feel like I was in trouble with no bullets. I started to make my own and then that evolved to paper patching. I still need to buy caps and powder but I don't worry about bullets, ever. Ron
