I just finished refinishing a CVA Hawken .50cal if you are interested. Double triggers which I've polished, i've also polished the lock internals for super smooth operation. Trigger is maybe 10oz when the set trigger is in place.

Dude you might find someone willing to sell you a used muzzy for $150, maybe $200. But you can buy a brand new CVA for $250 or less depending on the model. If budget is an issue, take a look at the CVA Wolf. Those CVAs are sweet shooting, quality built guns for a good price.

If you're getting serious about jumping in to the muzzy hunt, learn from a few of my mistakes, and save yourself a few years #####'n around with crappy guns.

I used to muzzleload deer every year. Last one I had was was an omega. Great gun. I prefere a modern inline.

You can get a new T/C impact (cheap Omega) for $230

Great rifle as long as you only want to shoot sabots (no conicals)

power belt bullets is what im gonna shoot. they always shot really good out of my other muzzleloaders. Does Ut still have the 1x scope law?

I have a CVA Optima I want to sell. Stainless Bergara barrel, camo stock. It shoots the power belts with 100 gr of 777 nicely. $150 plus shipping from Colorado.
