Federal Premium Copper Bullets

Would anyone have recent experience using these new bullets? I hunt with an old Remington 700 ML rifle in .54 caliber. Would anyone know if Federal produces these sort of newer type bullets in this out-dated caliber? Would appreciate your honest opinions.

FrontierGander, thank you for the information. I hunted Colorado last year using the heavy No Excuses bullet in my .54. Unfortunately for me I did not get the opportunity to use one of the No Excuses. I use a TC Encore in .50 as my back up weapon in Colorado. Thinking about experimenting with about 90 grains of BH 209 powder, the almost new Federal bullet (I believe in 270 grain), and a CCI primer 209 primer. Never used this formula before in the Encore but it could be good. Are there any Encore users that would recommend a proven load for hunting in Colorado (conical bullets). I am open to experienced opinions on this subject. Thanks. Cow Tag
