She arrived while I was at the chiropractor having my hips aligned! God, that was some ugly crunching noises!

This one is a early model with the 1:66 twist and the nice big .54cal bore! The set trigger wouldn't work and after examining, the trigger group was inletted to deep and so the trigger spring was pushed solid into the wood, not allowing any movement. I had to bed the trigger group anyway so I have that done now, setting up. That will take care of the inletting and she'll be ready for me to bed the tang tomorrow morning.

The bore is in perfect shape, no rust or pitting of any kind.

Typical treatment.. Start with the bedding, go to fitting the brass, strip the stock,Make her purdy and somewhere in the middle, fit new sights and brown the barrel.

She also has the heavy duty 1" barrel width. Its like a tank which is great for heavy loads in a .54cal
