Zeroing in your scope

I have zeroed my muzzle loader scope to 1/4 inch above dead center, I have a
scope with BDC line of 25 yard increments from 75 to 250 yards. Question now is should I keep it Zeroed or have the traditional 1 or 2 inch above dead center?
All opinions are very much appreciated.

I think it depends on MZ,scope,and what your shooting.
I have a TC Omega Z5 w/Nikon BDC and shoot Barnes sabots and BH209. I dial it in on scope recomendation of full-power sighting and @100 yards is 2" above DC and DC 3" groups at 200.
Easy to remember for me,similar to my 06','cept it has tighter groups.
