Accura, Optima, or T/C Triumph?

I have decided that it is time to upgrade my muzzleloader. What is the best option for the $300 - $450 price range? I have heard good things about all the above rifles. I hunt in Utah. I want to be able to shoot BH209.

Any tips are appreciated.

Thanks!

If you ever plan (or might) hunt in Colorado, I would rule out the Triumph. Due to the QLA, it might not shoot conicals well.

On the other hand, if all you will ever shoot is sabots, the Triumph is probably the best built gun. It should be able to shoot BH 209 with the stock breechplug whereas I believe you will have to order the special Breechplug for the others.

Still Toyin with the New Accura V2!

Breech Plug takes only Seconds to Change for BH 209 & costs less than 25.00!

Still working on a Load for it!

Gonna try the O-Rings in front of the Primer that FrontierGander Suggested this next time out!

Not a Bad Gun for the Money!

Never Thought I'd Ever Buy another CVA But I did!

Go Ahead!

You missed mentioning a nice one...... Knight Vision. Please check it out before your next purchase.

BTW...... what are you upgrading from? What do you currently own?

I will check it out. I currently own a Knight Original Disc. It shoots pretty well. However, it can't shoot BH209 without an expensive conversion kit, the blow back in the bolt area is getting old, and it is bear to clean as a result.
