This is the group I shot last week with my White Super 91 .504 with 460 grain no excuses. This is why I love White rifles.

I just got another Super 91 but in 45 cal. Cant wait to sling some 460 and 488 grain lead conicals!

Do you know what kind of MV you're getting with that Pyrodex load? I'm getting around 1200 FPS with 80g T7 and wondering whether it's worth trying the Pyrodex charge to see if I can bump it up a little to get some additional downrange energy.

All the data I've seen suggests that you will get slower velocities with Pyrodex than you will with Triple 7.

I'd love a White too Marley if I got the screamin deal that you did on your .504! LOL

I use 95 grains pyrodex and get a MV of 1350 fps

Talked to a fellow yesterday who inherited a White and does not shoot black powder. He had it checked out and the gunsmith said it looked nearly new. If anyone is interested PM me and I will get his telephone number.
