What Exactly Is The Difference Between A CVA Optima V2 and a CVA Accura V2 Muzzle Loading Rifle

Could anyone explain the difference (s) between a new CVA Optima V2 M.L. rifle and a new CVA Accura V2 muzzle loading rifle?

LAST EDITED ON Jul-15-16 AT 11:47PM (MST)[p]Optima = 26" barrel
Accura V2 = 27 and 30" barrel

Both triggers now break the same around 3.5 - 4lbs

Optima has optional stocks, Non thumb hole = Open sights and Thumb hole stock = SCOPE ONLY set up.

The Accura V2 will work with open sights and scope with both style, non thumb hole and thumb hole stock.

For open sights, I prefer the Accura V2 as its a very comfortable rifle with a thumb hole stock.

Scope only rifle, either will work, but the Optima is a sleeker looking design.

Frontier, I call that a complete answer. Thank you. I intend on purchasing a new Accura V2 soon. I have a cow license for unit 61 in Colorado during the muzzle loader season and I intend on carrying a CVA Accura V2 there on opening morning. I believe you will vouch that it is a good choice for using conical bullets while black powder hunting in Colorado.
Thank you again, Cow Tag from southern Illinois

Great choice indeed. get the blackhorn209 breech plug and you are set. You may have to call CVA and have them send open sights though! They come standard with a scope mount but will send you the sights if you need them.
